Read for RNIB train and tube campaign

Reading text can often be difficultThis year’s Read for RNIB campaign will feature a major new advertising push on platform posters across National Rail stations around the country, as well as cross-platform and escalator posters on the London Underground tube network.

Posters will be on display throughout August and September and have a potential opportunity to be seen by in excess of forty million people – the biggest Read for RNIB campaign to date!

Image designs

The first image focuses on the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and continues the use of Helen Oxenbury’s images of Alice in Wonderland for the Read for RNIB campaign. The second design builds on the successful themes from the RNIB Spot the Signs campaign and features a page from the classic Alice text overlaid with a sight condition.

It is hoped this image will encourage viewers to consider how much the ability to read means to them.

Help us spread the word

The aim of the campaign is to encourage viewers to register for this year’s Read for RNIB and to help us change the story for blind and partially sighted people across the UK.

To help spread the word of this brand new campaign we are encouraging everyone to take photographs of the adverts (including the station sign where possible) and post them to the Read for RNIB Facebook page and to our Twitter account using the hashtag #ReadForRNIB and including the location of the poster.
